According to a judge, Chris Brown is complying with the terms of his probation.

City News Service reports that a Los Angeles judge made the ruling Thursday.

Last summer, a judge sentenced Brown to receive five years of probation and six months of community labor in Virginia (his home state), after he was charged with assaulting his ex-girlfriend, singer Rihanna. He was also ordered not to contact Rihanna and keep 100 yards away from her — 10 yards if they both attend a music biz event — for the next five years.

Chris Brown used to be one of the hottest tickets in town, but according to ticket scalpers, Chris Brown is losing his appeal with concert goers.

The “Kiss Kiss” hitmaker played a gig at the Avalon in Hollywood last night, and the show’s sold out status had more to do with the small venue size than with demand for tickets.
