Be Aggressive!
Toss on a bright windbreaker just before you head out the door. It’s the quickest way to invigorate a drab look with some much needed color.

Go For the Tie
You should know by now that a tie isn’t just for the office guy. Try a windbreaker-tie combo, the badass version of dressy casual.

Take Control
Don’t be afraid to put your own stamp on the jacket—cinch the drawstring or push up the sleeves. Forearm ink optional.

Guard Yourself
Plenty of windbreakers come with a hood. Use it.

Watch Your Feet
Just as you’d do with your business wardrobe, try matching the color of your kicks to the rest of your outfit.

Injured Russell Ferguson wins ‘So You Think You Can Dance’

Tuesday, Dec 15, was really the big day for Russell Ferguson. He was crowned So You Think You Can Dance’s sixth-season champion during Tuesday night’s live finale broadcast of the Fox reality competition series.

Those were tense two hours, as the 20-year-old Ferguson injured his leg following a high-impact hip-hop routine at the start of the show. He had to be helped out onto the stage to hear the results–the culmination of 24 episodes and 85 different routines.

Ferguson emerged as America’s favorite dancer On Tuesday night’s finale, six finalists were eliminated one by one until it came down to Ferguson, who along with his partner Ellenore Scott performed a winning paso doble.

Ferguson, with little formal training and no experience in many of the dance forms, won the title after beating out more technically gifted dancers like Jakob Karr of Orlando, Fla., and Kathryn McCormick of Burbank, Ca., the first and second runners-up, respectively.

After winning the competition, Ferguson claimed the $250,000 grand prize and became the first Krumper to win the title.

Despite the injury, Ferguson emerged as America’s favorite dancer after viewers voted him the best dancer over other contemporary dancers.

Nate Gill – One of the brightest new stars on the men’s show circuit the past 2 seasons, this handsome American water polo player stands as the sole male in the current DKNY Jeans campaign for Fall/Winter 09.

Milan was awash with color and we don’t mean on the clothes. After last season’s dismal lack of models of color on the runway and the subsequent Guy Trebay article in the Times (Mr. Trebay called it a “Whiteout”), men’s show week in Milan has responded with one of the most diverse seasons in recent memory.

17 of the industry’s more recognizable and new male faces of color were at the top shows. The most notable was relative newcomer, the handsome David Agbodji opening and closing Calvin Klein, a homerun for any new model. Another top face was Nate Gill the beautiful young American model walking in 6 shows in Milan his first season. Three (yes, count them 3!) Asian models had a presence in Milan. Runway regular Philip Huang was joined by Allen Tsai and newcomer Simon Tham who closed Bottega Veneta.

… and changing. Because coincidentally there just had to be a camera backstage at JLS’ recent event at Manchester’s Trafford Centre Mall that attracted 120,000 people.

The fit and lovely Marvin Hume talks to the Telegraph about “strange” aspects of the boyband’s sex factor: “‘I was in a club and this girl put her hands down my trousers. I thought that’s a bit strange,” he said. “I was like ‘You can’t do that! If I did that to you, I would probably get put in prison’.”
